- You are right, it depends on the type of crash. The NOVA program was about a
- Boeing 737 that, because of an instrument failure went into a roll and
- uncontrolled spiril to the ground. The aircraft was ripped apart at speeds
- well beyond that of sound. The ultimate cause, BTW, was a loose connection
- to the artificial horizon indicator. The bodies and the aircraft we found
- scattered over a very wide area of the jungle. There were many "crash sites,"
- this is similar to the debris pattern of the PanAm 103 747 blown out of the
- sky over Scotland.
-
- This is not the type of crash that suppossedly happend at Roswell. I have not
- heard anyone claiming that debris rained down. No, they talk about impact,
- debris field "scattered" along the line of impact on the ground. The describe
- a crash similar to the ValuJet or the American DC10 that crashed in Chicago in
- May of 1979.

- Speculation.
-
- Look, I don't know what happened at Roswell. No one does and it is unlikely at
- this point that the "TRUTH" will ever be known. However, I do know that if you
- are going to make claims then either identify them as speculation, be able to
- prove them or take the hit and look foolish.
